1. Your main fandom of the year:

ASOIAF of course – I admit I only discovered it this year…Have I really been under the rock all this time?!?

2. Your favorite film this year:

The Royal Affair' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g11xkVjl7bM – with Mads Mikkelsen (http://www.madsonline.net). Enough said…

3. Your favorite book this year:

All 5 of ASOIAF (I know, lame…but again my excuse is that did ead them just this year!)

4. Your favorite album or song this year:

Florence and the Machine 'The Breath of Life' - that voice! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROtBbOcdFxo)

5. Your favorite TV show this year:

Excuse my lameness again, but ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 2…and the surprisingly gripping drama of ‘Homeland’. Usually not big on political drama, but the quality British acting by Damian Lewis hooked me  in.

6. Your favorite LJ community this year:

Does it need to be spelled? sansa_sandor of course!

7. Your best new fandom discovery of the year:

Ahem, see previous…

8. Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year:

Aaaargh! Has to be SanSan storyline brutalising at GoT S2.

9. Your TV boyfriend of the year:

Damian Lewis … something about gingers and excellent actors (http://www.damian-lewis.com/)

10. Your TV girlfriend of the year:

Although not in TV-series but rather in the movies, I can’t stop gushing about the talent and ethereal beauty of Cate Blanchett!

11. Your biggest squee moment of the year:

After I entered my first ever fanfic story to CommFicMeme and got my first review

12. Your most missed old fandom:

None, I was a virgin in this and have no comparisons…

13. Your fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?

If there is a fandom for 'Devil's Whore'  I would join it (maybe there is – better examine…) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1fGTRaMucI&list=FLajXt6o-l4dNumUDHgxwBog&index=17)

14. Your biggest anticipation of the New Year:

To write more and get better at it, rather than frustrated on my feeble attempts!

The Writing

Only started that too in September, urged by the great concept of CommFicMeme 2 – all three can be found in my AO3 (http://archiveofourown.org/users/LadyTP)

Apr -
May -
Jun -
Jul -
Aug -
Sep – ‘Under the Dornish Sun’ and ‘Stolen’ (for CommFicMeme 2)
Oct -
Nov -
Dec – ‘The Triangle’ (first 3 chapters)

Total words: 46,604

My best story(ies) of this year:

Ha ha, not much to choose from! I liked ‘Stolen’ but have high hopes for ‘The Triangle’.

My favourite story of this year:

Not sure if this is to be about my own stories or others…If latter I go for (so many to choose from!) with 'Northern Lights and Midnight Sun'  http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=100.1ownsariver,  'These Scars we Wear' b http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=100.1wonder_1859 and 'Sevenmas' http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=100.1starbird1

Most fun story to write:

‘Under the Dornish Sun’ – it was my first!

Sexiest story:

Ahem, not really been there yet…but plan to explore a bit this aspect as well in the near future J

Story with the single sexiest moment:

‘Stolen had this ‘feel - touch’ moment between Sandor and Sansa – pretty lame though!

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:

I really love to delve  into Jaime in ’The Triangle’ and his interactions with Sandor. New insights…

Hardest story to write:

Ha ha, again soooo many to choose from! My third one, as first two were more  ‘by the seat of my pants’,  in this I actually try...

Biggest Disappointment:

Not enough time, and that nagging feeling that I may be neglecting other parts of my life by immersing in this stuff.

Biggest Surprise:

How much good, excellent and magnificent stuff there is in the wonderful world of Internet! Why didn’t I find this before??

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?

Finish ‘The Triangle’, then go crazy with some shorter, hopefully quirky stuff.

I'd like to thank the academy...(Thanks to your betas, frequent commenters/supporters, the people who stayed up with you late on IM...)

Absolutely want to than http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=100.1wildsky_sheri whom I luckily discovered after extensive research, and who has opened my eyes to how to write. Also to http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=100.1the_moonmoth for her support and patience when I was asking all kinds of probably stupid questions when I started. Also thanks to everyone who has given me encouragement and support via their comments! Comments are truly one thing that keep the authors going…
